STUBBY PHILLIPS (Downstairs Lounge)

Stubby Phillips are rock and roll specialists covering such acts as AC/DC, BUSH, SUBLIME, LYNYRD SKYNYRD, LED ZEPPELIN, GREEN DAY, VAN HALEN TOOL, OZZY and many more. We play a combination of Party, Modern and Classic rock from the 60's to today for our dedicated fans in NJ and throughout the Tri State area. The Stubby Phillips Band has been around for upwards of 10 years and typically performs in clubs, bars, benefits as well as many private parties. Stubby Phillips consists of: .

“GLENN”- VOCALS- Glenn is from Woodbridge, NJ and has been singing forever. Glenn has performed in many venues over the years. His vocal style is one for the ages. If you love the Zeppelin's/Judas Priest's/Queensryche's of yesteryear, you don't want to miss hearing Glenn belt out the signature tunes of this genre. With Glenn's pipes, The Stubby Phillips Band can be compared to no other.

“DINO”- BASS GUITAR- Dino is from Fords, NJ and has been playing for upwards of 27 years. His influences include the likes of Yes, Rush and Iron Maiden. That being said, the blend of Dino's style with the rest of the band along with his backing vocals and fronting some of the material, especially the AC/DC makes him an integral part of the success of this band. With Dino's in your face vocal style, it adds a very contrasting yet complimentary blend with the infamous Glenn H. on stage.

“JT” (Jerry)- LEAD GUITAR- Jerry is from Bayonne, NJ and has trained and played guitar in the same circles with the very best in the music scene NJ has to offer . With Jerry's unique riffs and "one guitar show", you would be amazed to believe he is the only one packing a 6 string on stage. Fans are always in for a treat with JT tearing through the songs with his never ending energy. Jerry is well known in Bayonne and his performance at The Arts Factory is a very welcome homecoming of sorts.

“MIKE”- DRUMS- Mike is from Verona, NJ and is the backbone of this band. With Mike's steady yet extremely imaginative percussive beats, his solid "in the pocket groove" sets the band firmly on a silver platter allowing the talent to shine and be enjoyed by all.
